Kinetic Electrical Queenstown completed the electrical fit-out for Provenance Café at Queenstown Airport, helping create a comfortable and flexible hospitality space for locals and travellers throughout the year.

A café designed for every season

Located before security screening, Provenance combines a warm interior with an enclosed courtyard opening onto the airport forecourt.

Heating keeps the indoor-outdoor space comfortable during Queenstown’s colder months, while the retractable canopy roof and sides can be opened in warmer weather to make the most of the spectacular setting.

Integrated lighting, heating and controls

Kinetic Electrical Queenstown installed the venue’s lighting, speaker system and heating. The team also relocated the outdoor distribution board and built and installed a new control board.

The control board features full Dynalite capability and integrates with Queenstown Airport’s building management system, allowing the venue’s electrical systems to connect with the airport’s wider controls.

Commercial electrical capability

The project brought together lighting, heating, audio, distribution and intelligent control systems within a high-profile airport hospitality environment.

It demonstrates Kinetic Electrical Queenstown’s capability to deliver carefully coordinated commercial fit-outs that combine functionality, comfort and reliable system control.
